The hamilgang (Alexander Hamilton, John Laurens, Marquis De Lafayette, and Hercules mulligan) is known as a chaotic group. They called it the 'hamilgang' because Alexander Hamilton had kind of brought them all together when he tranferred to their school.
The school they go to is a fancy private like school, so they live on campus. The school allowed Alexander to tranfer there because he was an excellent writer. Despite being poor, they allowed him to join the school. Lafayette was allowed in because he spoke fluent in french, and that he can tutor anyone in french. Plus he sucked at english so he had to learn aswell. Hercules had been allowed in because he was extremely strong and good at sports. John had been allowed in because, as it said on the papers, his "bravery and intelligance", but it was mostly because he had protested against the school for "discriminating against the poor", and they let him in out of annoyance. But, that protesting had allowed other talented, not so rich people join the school, including Alexander, Lafayette, and Hercules.
The hamilgang all shared one dorm, having two bunk beds. That's the way they liked it. They all have cell phones, but there was one house phone every dorm needed incase there were specific information about the dorms. It almost never called, but that changed.
Alexander was rummaging through his closet, John was on his bunk on his phone, and Lafayette and Hercules were arm wrestling when the house phone went off. They all looked up, curious
Alexander: "I got it."
Alexander walked over to the phone and answered it
Alexander: "Hamilton speaking."
Principal: "Hello, Alexander."
Alexander was suprised to hear the Principal, usually the secretary or vice principal called through the house phone. This must be serious.
Alexander: "Principal Rogers? What's the problem?"
The others whisper around, also shocked
Principal: "We have had an issue with another dorm, the end result being one of the students unable to stay there anymore. Usually, we would have the student stay at home, but the students home is too far from the school. So we must transfer the student. You're dorm currently has the least amount of students. I feel you know where I'm getting at. We promise this student is a good student, and won't cause any problems."
Alexander wanted to argue against it, but the principal obviously didn't leave room for arguement.
Alexander: "Alright. That's fine."
Alexander said, reluctantly.
Principal: "Perfect. The student will arive in a few hours. We realize that you do not have any extra beds, but unfortunately we do not have any extra. We know you all are increbibly smart, so you will figure it out. Have a wonderful day, Alexander."
The principal hung up. Alexander put the phone down.
John: "What did the principal want?"
John asks curiously, the others also wanting to know.
Alexander: "She just told me that another student is...transferring to our dorm..."
The others look shocked while John looks mad
John: "What?! They can't do that, can they?"
Alexander: "Apparently. But we will welcome this new student with kindness."
Alexander shoots John a glare, and John grumbles but backs down. Lafayette stands
Lafayette: "This shall be fun!"
Lafayette says cheerfully, his french accent thick. Hercules stands next to him
Hercules: "Yeah, let’s look at the bright side. A new friend to annoy!"
They laugh, even John letting out a small chuckle.
They all talk about the bedding situation, and come up with a plan. They talk and joke for another few hours, waiting for the new student.
