PDA was always a thing with Curly that you would always be a victim to. He loved having you around his side. Especially when you cheered for him at his wrestle meets.

Your bright smile and personality that complimented so well with his had made you currently Highschool sweethearts. The both of you looked like you had belonged together in the first place.

    Jimmy thought differently though.

You were supposed to be his. The only reason Curly had even taken a liking to you was because Jimmy started talking and ranting about you. He had been so captivated by you that he decided to talk to Curly about it.

He knew he had to just sabotage this fucking disgustingly, perfect relationship the two of you had going on. So, he did just that. Rumors and sly comments would send a chain reaction your way sooner or later.

It was only time until you heard.

One of them being that Curly had cheated on you with one of the other girls on the wrestling team. Another was that he was just with you to get some tail and money. They were all ways to try and drive you away from him and towards someone else.

    Jimmy.

“My baby,” Curly breathed out, a smile coming onto his young face as he tilts his head while walking towards you with confidence of his own. He always had his own swagger in his step as he greeted you in the commons after school.

There was a ritual you two did everyday. You would wait for him since your class was closer to the exit than his own and end up walking out together.

He saw something in your eyes though when he neared you, his hand coming to your back as the other loosely ruffled your hair. It was a gesture that was meant to be playful and ease some of the tense air.

“You don’t look so happy,” he commented, blue eyes gazing down at you with a hint of concern and genuine curiosity. “I didn’t do nothing, right? It isn’t about how much time in at wrestling, right?”

He had previous worries about you being upset at him about not spending enough time with you because of his sport. This wasn’t what that was about.
