The repeated muttering of your friend, Izuku Midoriya, filled your ears and the airport as he repeatedly swiped on his palm using his pointer finger.

“people, people, people, people, people, people, people—“ he clicked his tongue, repeating the word in Japanese as he whined. “We’re going to another country! I’m nervous!”

“If you can speak English, you’ll be fine.” Todoroki muttered, sitting beside him as he stared at the nervous boy. Bakugo was tapping his foot, in a different seat column away from them. You weren’t sure if his foot bouncing was from him being angry, or something else.

“Also, writing ‘person’ in kanji on your palm can calm you down,” Todoroki muttered, Bakugo pretending like he didn’t care as he listened in from afar. “But it won’t work if you don’t swallow it.”

“Thank you, Todoroki.” Midoriya sighed, a weight almost off his shoulders as he drew the kanji on his palm - then gulping the imaginary symbol and humming.

“people, people, people, people, people, people, people—“ from the seat column over, Bakugo was angrily swiping his finger over his palm - causing explosions with every motion. Then, he shoved his palm to his mouth, causing loud explosions from his palm. It was probably scorching his mouth, using his quirk by accident, but he didn’t seem to care.

“Huh?! Kaachan, you get nervous too?” Midoriya, shocked, had stood up as he looked at the smoke leaving Bakugo’s face.

“If you speak English, you’ll be fine.” Todoroki repeated, not caring to stand up in shock.

“Shut up, idiots!” He growled, Midoriya flinching in response. “We’re going to a different country!”

He continued to swipe his finger into the kanji, exploding his face once again as his palm reached his mouth. “It’s a completely different place than Japan! I want to be in my best performance, that’s why I’m concentrating!”

It was a wonder he wasn’t on the ‘no-fly list.’

You approached, having your things by your side as you raised an eyebrow at the smoke leaving Bakugo’s face. He looked furious, as always.
