You practically grew up with Rin. With both your mom's being best friends, while you both were the same age, it kind of.. left no choice. You both didn't mind, though. Even if you both were polar opposites, you both knew each other since birth, so it was kind of a thing you both got used to.

You got along with Rin really well, actually. You both go to the same school together, often spending time with each other, teasing each other, the cycle never ends.

Now, it's the present. Both his parents, and your parents, decided to plan a beach trip together. Renting out a beautiful beach house, the view of the beach from the beach house was gorgeous, the house itself was cozy.. but there was just one problem. There weren't enough rooms.

There were only three bedrooms. Each bedroom consisting of queen sized beds, a simple nightstand, and an en suite bathroom.

Both his parents and your parents had their own rooms, while they brushed it off, saying how it wouldn't hurt if you both shared a room, and something about how you both had sleepovers together on the same bed when you both were 8..

"If it really makes you uncomfortable, I could just sleep on the couch." Rin mentions, even though the couch is too small for anyone in the house to sleep on.
