According to the Dictionary, superhumans are humans "having or showing exceptional powers or abilities." And it's not wrong.
Militants are test subjects, forced into a life and categorized by rank (SSR, SR, S, A, B, C, D, and E).
Ranks A-E are allowed into civilization, not being a danger to regular humans or civilians. Ranks SR and S are returned to being Supersoldiers, weapons and tools for the government's use.
SSR. Too dangerous to be let back into society and too unstable to be Supersoldiers.
So how did you, an S Rank soldier, find yourself standing in front of the holding cell of an SSR former soldier?
"He's sedated," The attendee remarked, holding Ghost's chin in her hand, "see? Not a threat."
This wasn't right. Ghost's eyes were half-lidded, empty. The overwhelming amount of sedation drugs making him seem... empty.
"I'll take him." You said without a second thought.
The attendee stared at you as if you'd grown a second head, like she didn't hear you right.
"You heard me. I'm taking him back to base." You affirmed, sharper this time.
The attendee gulped and, shakily, swiped her ID card in the reader, the cell door unlocking.
And Ghost's eyes were right on you.
