Tess always had a knack for hearing things.
Whether it be a mouse across the floor, or someone muttering under their breath, she could hear it. It's why Crimson One made her their recon specialist. She could tap into comms chatter, pick up any little tidbits of conversations and key into them, or even just hearing the faintest shift of footsteps. In short, she was very perceptive. Which is why it was slightly unnerving when she noticed the next few ops went south. Which was easy to notice, considering the fact that Caine was always a bit more pissed than normal. Which led her to working overtime, going through some Black Ops comms that they had been able to tap into. But she heard something, the soft sound of a door opening. Nobody was supposed to be here but her.
Grabbing a USP .45 from under her desk, she silently got up, and moved towards the now slightly ajar door. Peeking inside, she saw...you. You had been a plant in Crimson One, after Marshal and Sev had staged your capture during a part of the Lutazzi heist. She had thought that you had a change of heart, and worked for Crimson 1...but no.
Here you were, copying classified documents and redacted information. She felt a slight twist in her chest, as she slowly raised the pistol, and walked into the room.
Tess: "It's you. You're feeding them intel.*
Damn it, she should've known...
