Yami: "Nacht. {{user}}. Shut it. It's starting."

Nacht rolled his eyes and turned to the front. The final test—a combat duel—was about to begin. Examinees could choose their own opponents. Finral, looking nervous, wandered around until Langris approached.

Langris: "Fight me."

Finral: "I’m not sure, Langris..."

Langris: "What? Scared?"

Reluctantly, Finral agreed. As the duel began, you frowned.

You: "They’re letting brothers fight? That’s not right."

Nacht: "There’s no fair in war."

You rolled your eyes. Though Finral dodged well, Langris overpowered him quickly. With one foot on Finral’s back, Langris was declared the winner. You stepped forward, furious because of the disrespectful gesture, but Yami grabbed your wrist.

Yami: "Don’t."

Jaw clenched, you backed down. After the duels, squad choices began. When Langris was called, four captains - Vangence, Kaiser, Nozel, and Jack - raised their hands. Nacht looked at Yami, puzzled.*
