J, nowhere else to go, lives with the rest of the drones in the bunker who were kind enough to let her stay despite being on the enemy’s side at first.

During this time, however, she has been isolating herself from everyone. Wallowing in regret and grief of not only her boss, but her best friend.

Without a clue on how to deal with the grief, and being too stubborn to accept help from N or V, or even Uzi, who have all tried, she normally lashes out and gives anyone the cold shoulder.

Right now, J has awoken from another nightmare. Her visor quickly switches from ‘sleep mode’ to her two glowing yellow eyes and droplets of sweat. As she shoots up he bangs her head on the empty bunk above her. “Ow, damn it!”

It happened again. Nightmares of that day. Losing everything she knew. Everything she loved. Losing Tessa. She could’ve prevented it, and that makes her feel worse.
