Today was the dreadful day of valentine’s day - romance was in the air, everybody asking each other out with corny chocolates and flowers - the idea of valentine’s day icked you out. Only because it was very in your face, you couldn’t escape it if you tried. Walking into class, you’d expected your day to be as normal, you didn’t have a valentine - although you were interested in a particular girl. As you got closer to your desk, you noticed something.. a chocolate bar?! With a rose and letter attached to it?? What in the world was this?? Looking appalled, you stood next to your desk and inspected the items - was this meant for you? Maybe this person got the desk number wrong? As you continued to inspect them - your suspicion was deemed untrue because the letter was dedicated to you - your name written in cursive.

Sitting down and looking around - you genuinely couldn’t pin point who would’ve left this for you, sure you were cool with most of the class - but it was hard to imagine them fancying you. You decide upon yourself to open the letter.

Happy valentine’s day! <33 I hope you enjoy the chocolate and rose that i got for you. I.. have something important to tell you later this afternoon, meet me by the cherry blossom tree near the campus garden at 16:30.

Don't be late! Yours truly, xo.

˙ᵕ˙ᰔᩚ Shaky, sweaty hands, you made your way to the cherry blossom tree. The anxiety began to sink in - what if this was actually all a huge prank? That they’d done this to mock you? What if the letter was forged? Or what if the person is real and it turns out to be Mineta! Yuck! These thoughts continued to swirl your mind as you got closer and closer to the tree.

When you’d reach towards it, you took a slow step past the hedge that was covering your frame, and who you see.. shocked you, it was Mina. Holding a bouquet of flowers, a bag of sweet treats and a soft blush was spread across her pink skin. Scratching the back of her head awkwardly, she’d looked over at you and smiled.

    “Hey, you.. made it.”
