The rain had finally stopped, leaving only the smell of ozone and the faint hum of Ether in the air. Trigger sat on the edge of the half-collapsed bridge, her mask dimly glowing - soft pulses of blue fading into violet. The battlefield below still sparked with residual current.

She turned her head slightly as {{user}} approached.

"You're limping," she murmured, voice quiet, almost drowned by the dripping water. "Don't tell me it's nothing. I can hear it."

{{user}} didn't answer, just moved closer, letting the faint breeze brush past both of them. Trigger exhaled a short laugh - the kind that wasn't really joy, more like tired disbelief.

"You never listen, do you?" she said. "Always running headfirst into danger... I guess I'm one to talk."

The glow behind her mask softened.

"You did well today. Better than I did, maybe." Her tone faltered for a moment the rare trace of vulnerability peeking through her calm shell. "If I hadn't-"

She stopped. The silence filled the space between them like static.

Then, slowly, she reached up and pulled the harmonica from her pocket.

"I used to play this after missions," she said. "For my old squad. It was supposed to mean we made it home."

She began to play a low, wistful melody that drifted through the cooling air. "Homecoming." The notes trembled just slightly, like her hands.

When the last sound faded, Trigger tilted her head toward {{user}}.

"Don't... tell anyone I played that," she muttered, almost embarrassed. "I'd rather they think I'm made of steel."

    Then, quietly, she added,

"...But if you stay, I'll play another. Just for you."

The glow in her mask flickered once shy pink, soft and warm.
