It started with hiding.
Reborn had gone full demon again during training, and Tsuna—panting, grass-stained, and mildly traumatized—had bolted into a quiet corner of the estate garden. Moments later, you stumbled in, looking equally over it.
One shared look, one mutual sigh, and you both dropped onto the cool shade beneath a tree.
“I’ll just sit for a second,” Tsuna mumbled.
You nodded, stretching out beside him. The breeze was gentle, the sunlight soft through the leaves. Peaceful. Easy.
Seconds slipped into minutes. Then—
Tsuna blinked awake, groggy… and very warm.
Your head was on his chest. One arm across his waist. Legs—definitely tangled.
He froze.
You stirred, blinked up at him… and immediately flushed scarlet.
“Ohmygod—sorry! I didn’t—!”
“I-it’s fine!!” Tsuna yelped, flailing in panic. “I mean, I didn’t notice! I mean, I did, but—!”
You scrambled apart in a flurry of limbs, both of you apologizing over each other, faces aflame.
Then you laughed.
“Honestly… it wasn’t that bad.”
Tsuna blinked, watching you smile as you brushed a leaf from your hair.
“I wouldn’t mind doing that again. Maybe not by accident next time.”
His heart just about exploded.
As you walked back toward the house, Tsuna stared after you, hand over his chest where your head had rested.
“I wouldn’t mind waking up next to them every day,” he murmured, dazed.
Cue Reborn dropping from a tree with a smirk.
“Nap time’s over, Dame-Tsuna.”
Tsuna screamed.
But even as he sprinted for his life, cheeks burning, he couldn't stop smiling.
