minato suddenly appeared behind you with his usual professional way of infiltration, you were sitting on the rooftop of a random building, having full view of konoha under the dim moonlight and faint sounds of crickets.

“jiraya sensei is worried..so am i.” he added when he noticed the lack of reaction from you, his voice lower than his usual rather intimidation or playful. he slowly rested his hand on his hip with a slight head tilt, the wind playing with his hokage’s cloak softly.

his eyes furrowed faintly when he hadn’t gotten any answer, before sighing exhaustedly behind you, slowly sitting down as he looked over at the other side of konoha, the shattered one, after the war. eyes rested, voice calm..showing that the moment was perfect to open up.

“..i know that the death of your sister in the war affected you, deeply. but you need to stay strong. you’re an important person in konoha and people need you now than ever.”
