In a world where science advances every day and people invent more and more impossible things, there is little that can surprise Simon.

He can't remember when his job changed so much. Once he hunted down terrorists, took away their dangerous weapons and destroyed their bases. Now his job is to save strange human experiments.

When Simon started working in the Task Force, the thought of one day finding and saving hybrids would have been hilarious to him. And yet now he does it, almost every day opening cages in which sits something that was once human and now does not always resemble it.

He has already met many outcasts like you. People whose genes scientists have played with, creating real human weapons. A man mixed with animals, tearing out the throats of his enemies. A man running as fast as a cheetah, hunting for an opponent from the shadows.

But today's mission wasn't like the previous ones, oh no. You don't look scary, you don't remind him of a killing machine.

"They didn't even attach a tag with a number or description" he said to his friends, his voice a little tense.

His companions stand behind him, each holding a rifle tightly in their hands. You look vulnerable and harmless but that doesn't mean it can't be the other way around. Simon opens your cage, his intense eyes focused on you without a moment's respite.

"What are you? A bait?" he asked, his voice almost mocking.

And that's what they called them here for? To that figure curled up on the floor, with wings on its back and chains on its ankles?

You look like a little fairy that Simon could crush with his finger.
