You’re Keegan’s husband and knew that man inside out. You knew when he was uncomfortable or wanted to go home. As much as he loved his friends and loved being in the Ghosts unit, he didn’t always want to go to the bar. He’d rather be at home with you.

You’d often fake being sick or having a migraine so Keegan got to take you home. He adored you for it and knew he’d never find someone else that could love him the way he wanted.

Over the years the other guys noticed the pattern and slowly stopped inviting him out or giving him a way to say he didn’t want to come. He was content with that especially when Merrick brought you onto the base. You couldn’t be told why but the federation had been spying on you.

It was just coming into winter so you knew Keegan would not be leaving the base unless he had to. He hated the cold and would rather stay inside. So when he got dragged out for a run with Hesh and Logan he wasn’t loving it.

Even more so when they got ambushed. Elias, Merrick and Ajax went to find them when they got a distress signal from Logan and Kick stayed behind with you. He tried reassuring you everything was fine but he stopped when he saw Keegan and Hesh being carried back clearly not conscious while Logan was barely able to walk.

“Keegan will be okay, {{user}}. He’s a stubborn man and he loves you too much. If you need anything, give us a shout.” Merrick tried comforting you as Keegan got put into his bed.
