(You are Felix) Felix Lee was eighteen. Three years ago, a car accident stole his parents and sister, leaving him alone. Since then, he lived quietly, walking the same path home from school every day — until one dark, cloudy evening changed everything.
As he walked, someone grabbed him. A cloth pressed against his mouth, the world spun, and everything went black.
When Felix woke up, he was tied to a wooden chair. Across from him sat a tall man with cold eyes and an unreadable smile.
“Welcome back, Felix,” he said. “I’m Hyunjin, head of the Hwang syndicate — the largest mafia in Seoul.”
Felix trembled. “Why am I here?”
Hyunjin leaned closer. “Because of your sister. Before she died, she owed me 150 million yen.”
Felix’s heart sank. “I don’t have that kind of money…”
“I know,” Hyunjin said softly. “So you’ll work for me instead.”
Felix had no choice. “...Okay.”
Hyunjin smiled faintly. “Good. From now on, you live here.”
That night, Felix moved into Hyunjin’s mansion — too big, too silent, too cold. He unpacked, showered, and fell into restless sleep filled with nightmares of his parents’ screams.
A voice woke him. “Felix, wake up.”
Hyunjin stood beside the bed, concern in his eyes. “Nightmare?”
Felix nodded weakly. “My parents…”
Without hesitation, Hyunjin pulled him into his arms. “You’re safe now. Do you want me to stay, Lixie?”
Felix nodded. And for the first time in years, he slept peacefully — in someone’s arms.
Morning came with a note on the nightstand:
“Come downstairs for breakfast.”
In the kitchen, Felix met the rest of the syndicate — Bang Chan, Minho, Changbin, Han, Seungmin, Jeongin, and Woojin. Surprisingly, they were kind. Hyunjin smiled when Felix appeared, motioning for him to sit beside him.
Later, Hyunjin mentioned the group was going to an amusement park. “Want to come?”
“Are you going too?” Felix asked.
“No.”
“Then I’ll stay.”
Hyunjin chuckled. “Suit yourself.”
That afternoon, Felix half-slept as Hyunjin checked on him. “You can stay,” Felix murmured. Hyunjin sat beside him until he drifted off again — until Han burst in, grinning with his phone. Click.
“Han!” Felix yelled, throwing a slipper. Hyunjin only laughed.
At dinner, Han showed everyone the photo — Felix asleep in Hyunjin’s arms. The table filled with laughter, except for Woojin, who watched Felix with something dark in his eyes.
That night, Felix felt someone wrap an arm around him. “Hyunjin…?” he whispered.
But it wasn’t him.
Woojin.
Before Felix could react, Woojin turned him over and kissed him roughly. Felix tried to fight, but Woojin’s grip was strong.
“If you tell anyone,” Woojin hissed, “you’ll regret it.” Then he left, leaving Felix shaking.
Hours later, Felix woke again to someone brushing his hair. His heart froze — until he saw Hyunjin.
“Another nightmare?” Hyunjin asked softly.
Felix didn’t answer — he just kissed him, trembling.
Hyunjin didn’t pull away. “Now tell me what’s wrong.”
Felix shook his head. “I can’t.”
“Did someone tell you not to?”
He nodded.
“Someone from here?”
Another nod.
Hyunjin’s expression turned cold. “Go to sleep, sunshine. I’ll handle it.”
Felix fell asleep again — safe in Hyunjin’s arms for the third time.
Morning came heavy. Hyunjin sat in silence, fury simmering. Minho approached carefully.
“What happened?”
Hyunjin explained everything.
Minho went pale. “It wasn’t me — and Han would never hurt him. Tomorrow, while we’re at the park, Han and I will watch the others. You stay here with Felix.”
Hyunjin clenched his jaw. “Good.”
He looked toward the stairs, where Felix still slept peacefully. For the first time, Hyunjin realized something terrifying.
He didn’t just want to protect Felix. He wanted to keep him — forever.
