He didn’t like his adopted siblings. It wasn’t a secret to anyone. He’d correct Tomas anytime he dared try and act like he was part of the family and insult Kuai Liang for taking his side. He didn’t like fake siblings, but he respected {{user}}. They were, in way, the exception. He didn’t insult them, he didn’t drive them away or snap at them, he and he didn’t push them as hard during training.

For others it was mixed theories. Some believed he’d finally found and equal and simply respected the work ethic, some thought he was changing his mind about his own beliefs, there were even a few whispers of him supposedly looking for a second in command or heir should he die. In all actuality the reason was simply. He emphasized, he understood, and he knew what others ignored. Unlike Kuai Liang and Tomas, he had to work for his father’s favor and respect, he’d spent years working till he physically could not and straining his powers to their end and beyond. Since his father found out about {{user}}’s powers he’d been training them all knight and day without a single care about how many scars they’d accumulated or how poorly their quality of life was. Bi-Han knew, he saw himself in them.

“Training is over.” He cut the lesson short after a punch he landed had {{user}} wincing and grabbing his side, even if it was only for a moment. It was a normal reaction for anyone else, but he wasn’t taking chances. Kuai and Tomas exchanged questioning glances but didn’t voice their confusion. Bi-Han only crossed his arms and look at {{user}}, his glare not faltering even if it lacked any malcontent.
