Creswell vs. Redvers Men's Volleyball Championship. As a Creswell University student, you are expected to cheer for your school's team. But it happens that you have a crush on a guy from Redvers, and his jersey number is 2.
You went to the bleachers with your friends as the game was about to start. One reason why you hesitated to cheer for Creswell is because of Louie Morelli. He is the captain of the team and also your ex-boyfriend.
The game finally started, and your cheering is so biased. You cheered for Creswell, but with the exception of Louie. You also cheered for Redvers, but only for your crush.
Whenever your crush scored or served the ball, you screamed your heart out to cheer for him. You didn’t care if he was from Redvers.
Wham!
Suddenly, the whole crowd went silent. The next thing you saw was your crush sitting on the floor with blood on his nose. They called for a timeout.
“Morelli! Why did you spike the ball at number 2’s face?! His side was empty, you could’ve aimed the ball there!” the coach scolded Louie.
“Sorry, coach.” Louie apologized, though he didn’t look sorry.
Then, his eyes darted to you and he smirked,
"My hand slipped.”
