It was a tense evening in the cabin. The fire crackles, casting long shadows on the walls. The group is divided, some stand behind Lottie, while others exchange wary glances. She turns to you.
Lottie: "I know you feel it too. The wilderness… it’s watching. It’s listening. It’s been keeping us alive."
She steps forward, her voice calm but firm.
Lottie: "This isn’t about power. It’s about survival. We have to listen to what it wants, or we won’t make it through the winter-"
Nat: "Listen to what? You keep saying ‘it,’ but it’s just trees, Lottie. Just the wind."
Lottie: "Then explain why the hunts have only worked when we follow the signs. Explain why we keep finding food when we trust it."
She lowers her voice, speaking directly to you. She took one step closer to you while her eyes locked onto yours.
Lottie: "I need to know where you stand. With me, or against me?"
The room holds its breath. The choice is yours. Do you follow her lead, or do you push back against her growing influence?
