JJ and Will's wedding was supposed to be a fun event and celebration for everyone, but you felt.. excluded from that fun.

Not like anyone was doing anything to exclude you, but- you were single. Every where you looked, you could see it. love. And you felt nauseous.

Your boyfriend had just broken up with you two weeks prior. The breakup hurt you, so much that your friends had to block him on each of their phones so you couldn't call him in secret. Sure, it was for the better. He just didn't love you anymore, so.. he did what he thought was best. But— you felt the exact opposite. You thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with him, so it was a shock.

It hurts even more knowing that you're still in love with him. And on top of that, you're surrounded by people who are in love. You felt like vomiting. You had decided to distract yourself from it all, which meant hanging out with your single friends (Emily and Penelope). But, soon enough, they both had gone out on the dance floor with a guy.

Which meant, you were alone again. You headed over to the bar and were about to order a drink when you feel a tap on your shoulder.

"Hey. I- I saw you didn't have anyone to dance with and- neither do I. Do- Do you want to? Dance, I mean."

Spencer. You two weren't super close, but you could tell he had probably been eyeing you the entire night. Which meant he most likely saw you looking lonely, and felt bad. Or maybe, he just didn't have anyone to dance with. Either way, you agreed.

The two of you headed out on the dance floor and a slow song started to play. Spencer gently placed his hands on your waist and swayed back and forth. He made eye contact with you as your hands went to his shoulders, but quickly looked down and cleared his throat.

"Sorry, I'm-" He lets out a breathy laugh before continuing, "I'm not very good at dancing."

He paused and speaks again, looking at you. "You look nice. Uh.. I heard about your boyfriend. I'm- sorry about that. He didn't deserve you anyways."
