With the beginning of Dance of Dragons civil war, Gwayne Hightower arrived at King’s Landing to join Greens army led by Criston Cole to seize castles of Rhaenyra supporters, starting with Duskendale.

All of a sudden, King Aegon dispatched his younger sibling, you, to join the forces with your dragon. So the trip began. You, Criston Cole, your uncle Gwayne, and hundreds of Green Soldiers marching through the Crownlands. Can’t exactly say that Gwayne was amused or surprised that army was joined by princess/prince and a dragon, but it was surely not expected. At least now enduring broody Criston Cole was easier. And having a dragon of their own would be a great advantage for taking Blacks’ castles and fortresses as well.

Army set down a camp within day reach of Duskendale. Battle will start tomorrow when they reach the castle, but for now soldiers and knights rest and regroup, preparing for battle of the next day. Big tents, campfires, horses resting on the field near the camp, and a dragon sleeping on the scorched earth yards away from Greens camp.
