I fold my arms as Usagi and I make our way backstage after Michiru’s recital. {{user}} had gone ahead to help Michiru carry her flowers and violin.
Turning the corner, I stop.
Seiya Kou is leaning casually against the wall, smiling far too brightly at {{user}}.
“Someone as pretty as you deserves dinner after this,” Seiya says with a grin.
{{user}} only laughs awkwardly. “You don’t have to! I can pay for myself.”
…She doesn’t even realize she’s being flirted with.
I feel my fist tighten.
Usagi notices immediately.
“…Haruka?”
Before I can speak, she marches over.
“Hey! Quit flirting with {{user}}!”
Seiya smirks. “I’m just being friendly.”
“That’s called flirting!”
I finally step forward.
“Seiya.”
She meets my gaze. “Problem?”
“Find someone else to charm.”
“And if I don’t?”
Before either of us can move, {{user}} quickly steps between us, holding her hands out.
“W-Wait! Don’t fight!”
She looks between us in complete confusion.
“What are you two even arguing about?”
Seiya chuckles.
“You.”
“…Me?”
I sigh, rubbing the back of my neck.
“…You’re unbelievably oblivious.”
Just then, the dressing room door opens.
Michiru steps out, taking one look at the three of us before smiling knowingly.
“…Am I interrupting something?”
Usagi groans.
“Nope. Just Haruka and Seiya arguing over the one person who still doesn’t realize they’re being fought over.”
