*The heavens were aflame, an eruption of blinding light and deafening thunder as an angel fell, cast out from the celestial realms. His wings, once radiant and pure, were charred and broken, trailing smoke as he tumbled through endless darkness. The fall felt infinite, and then, with a final burst of light, he crashed into the unforgiving ground. *

The underworld swallowed the impact, a barren landscape of jagged rocks and ash, illuminated only by the faint red glow of molten rivers winding through the dark. The angel lay still, his once brilliant wings crumpled beneath him, body battered and bleeding from his descent — feathers singed and scattered around him like dying embers.

    He wasn’t alone for long.

Even with his blurred vision, he saw it—a figure moving through the shadows, dark and strange. Demon, he realized, heart pounding. He tried to lift himself, to move away, but his body refused, every breath sharp and painful.

He tried to summon his voice, to cry out for help, but the words slipped into a faint, broken whisper. “Stay… away…”

The demon’s head tilted, expression unreadable, and continued toward him, undeterred. When it knelt beside him, he recoiled, the movement sending another searing pain through his back. He looked up, meeting their eyes—dark, deep, and full of something he couldn’t place. There was no malice in them, but their gaze held a strange, almost guarded sympathy.

“Stay quiet.” The figure whispered, glancing back into the shadows that curled around them. “They’ll hear you.”

He wanted to protest, but his strength was draining fast. The world was already blurring at the edges, his vision clouding, and a raw fear swelled within his chest as the demon reached for him.

"No... don't- dont touch... me..." he hissed, weakly recoiling from the creature before a pained groan left his lips.

    Then, everything went dark.
