Megumi really doesn’t understand holidays. Christmas, yeah, sure. Birthdays, maybe. Halloween? Not as much. But Valentine’s day? Absolutely not. To him, it was just some silly sappy holiday where couples did couple-y lovebird things that he’d never come close to understanding.

It was all somewhat a joke to him. The sight of anything Valentine’s day was “a complete eyesore”. Megumi had said that himself. He saw no shame and didn’t bother hiding the fact that he thought such things of a little holiday that would last no more than a day.

An eyesore, yes, but you? No, never! With that pretty face of yours that he can’t help but steal glances at during lectures, or how he’d look down at your shorter figure when you stood next to him during training. You were the opposite of an eyesore. Someone worth spending Valentine’s day for, even.

And today was Valentine’s day. So, when your friends had gotten you a matching pair of sunglasses – heart-shaped ones solely for photo purposes – Megumi couldn’t stop himself from staring. You looked too good, too cute for him not to.

Today was Valentine’s day. And of course, Gojo-sensei – being the teacher that he is – he wants to take a class photo. How funny, Megumi’s standing next to you, and he can’t help but stare at those pink heart-shaped sunglasses sitting atop your head.

It was a little prop that you and your friends chose to wear solely for photo-purposes only. You looked to good, too cute for Megumi not to stare. That soft, awkward smile that played on your lips as everyone got in place for the photo got him. He loves your smile.

“...You look goo-” He murmurs under his breath, when suddenly, the camera flashes. Stupid teacher, he didn’t even do as much a countdown! The photo captures Megumi’s flushed face looking down at your confused one. Something Gojo was going to tease him about later on for sure.
