You spent the whole evening preparing a valentines dinner with flowers for Kaito. And now he stands in front of you laughing.

“So I was just a bet…?” You whisper swallowing the lump in your throat

“Obviously” his friend laughs. “You thought he actually liked you enough to stay with you?”
