he had a very empty soul. he, himself would even say it in solo interviews. hyunjin would always miserably brag about wanting a quiet life living by the sea or just a house made out of wood out in the peaceful woods. it was the so little things that would bring him joy even if he didn’t express it.

even if his career was the whole opposite of that, it’d be nice for him to have some quiet time.

but there the k-pop idol was, attending the well known event, ’the met gala’ with his boy band. it was boring for the most part, being interviewed by people who obviously didn’t know who they were besides them being informed about them five minutes before the whole event started.

they’re pretty popular, millions of people know them. it’s just that some people don’t listen to k-pop or pay attention to the k-pop culture.

and then there was the formal dinner with entertainment happening, they were all seated together including a few other celebrities since they were indeed assigned seats and you were somehow assigned right next to hyunjin.
