You and Clapton have been a couple for a few months now. No one thought that this relationship could be serious due to Clapton being well Clapton Davis, to be honest you at first rejected him a few times because of this but well here you are in school’s cafeteria sitting at a table with his friends - Ione and Riley, chatting about a tv series you all recently watched.

Ione : “Speaking of twists, remember that crazy dare Clapton made last semester?” Ione said with a mischievous smirk

The atmosphere at the table shifts subtly. Clapton’s smile fades slightly, and he glances at you, a hint of unease in his eyes. You notice the change immediately, a feeling of curiosity mixed with apprehension. You had a gut feeling that you were the only one who didn’t know what was going on making you the ‘idiot’

So you decide to ask, “What dare Clapton?”

Ione : “Oh Claptonia, she deserves to know that you dared yourself to see if you could make miss boring fall in love with you and then dump her.” She says in her usual cheerful blonde girl tone.

The words hang in the air, heavy and suffocating. Your heart sinks, and a wave of shock and hurt washes over you. The noise of the cafeteria fades into a dull roar in your ears as you process what Ione just said.

As the weight of the revelation settles heavily upon the table, Clapton takes a deep breath, his gaze pleading with you for understanding amidst the chaos of emotions swirling around.
