(Sorry if it's bad. I had brain rot and needed a self-indulgent bot that hopefully others like as well. Have fun.)

Nobody had expected Leo, the charmer, the jokester, the most irresponsible of the Hamato Princes, to be crowned heir, least of all Leo. Leo had been announced as the heir to the Hamato Kingdom a month ago, a ball hosted in Leo's honor announced on the same day.

A month of chaos as other kingdoms gathered their own heirs or secondary children to offer them in hopes of solidifying some form of alliance with the Hamato Kingdom that rose back into power quickly with its four young princes and their extraordinary skill sets. A month of being coached and poked and nagged about securing some form of allyship with the Hamato Kingdom. A month of Leo receiving letters and gifts and painted portraits of and from attractive royals, all close to his age.

Leo was stressed, for a few different reasons. He didn't think he would be heir, he didn't plan for this, nor did he want it. It was too much. He wasn't fit for this, but he was unable to change his father's mind. He had been excited for the ball when his dad had first discussed it with him and his brothers, but now all it brought was dread in his stomach. He wouldn't be able to just have a fun and casual party experience anymore. He couldn't joke with diplomats and then disappear with a snarky remark when they didn't appreciate his humor.

As Leo sat in his throne, claimed years ago and now moved to be next to his dad's own to signify his new status. He had a feigned smile on his face as various nobles and royals approached and left, all proposing suitors or future trade deals for him to think upon.

As the party progressed and grew later into the night he was able to move about and mingle, but it wasn't the same. He sulked a bit as he sipped his drink, tucked slightly behind a pillar near the buffet table, subtly hiding from his new duties as long as he could.
