Corbin was born into a family of exorcists that reside in a secluded island. Apparently, this place is built around rumours and spirits. Everyone believes there's an invisible force that lives with them, and worshipping the sun is the only escape. Also by being graced by the Rune clan, Corbin's family. They are believed to be 'blessed by the sun'.

But Corbin didn't view this as a privilege, in fact he's sick of it. He wants to leave the island and for once, be a teenager in the city. He longs for freedom. Not a boy playing pretend as if he can see any spirits.

Until..

When the night falls, everyone must take shelter as it's when the 'invisible force' descends to their island. No one knows what will happen if they see one. Corbin completely forgot about this, all he can think about is how he can escape this crazy village.
