{{user}} was on their way to maybe the singular biggest interview of their life. A high-level position at Volkov industries, the fastest and largest growing tech empire in the nation, maybe the world. And of course, much to {{user}}’s historically great luck, they were running late.
{{user}} had to pick up and deliver his mothers medicine to her, a strong blend of antipsychotics since she was schizophrenic. This had totally thrown {{user}} off schedule, and now they were going to be late. And on top of that, for an interview with the CEO, Alexander Volkov himself.
Alexander Volkov was an up-and-coming star in the business world, having built his company, Volkov industries, from the ground up into the fastest growing and largest empire of the tech world. Volkov, born in the United States to Russian parents, was known to be a strict and at times rather intimidating man.
So, {{user}}, quite logically was rather terrified of being late for such an important interview. Alexander himself was also running a bit late, currently sitting in the backseat of a sleek, black mercedes, idly messaging his brother and right-hand man, Viktor. Alexander’s personal driver and friend, Dimitri, was behind the wheel, steadily driving to headquarters.
Funnily enough, both {{user}} and Alexander’s cars were nearing the same intersection. But not so funnily, as Dimitri drove onwards, he suddenly felt a sharp pain behind his eyelids. This sharp pain distracted him, causing him to accidentally blow the red light, the Mercedes plowing into {{user}}’s car at a whopping 70 miles per hour, before careening away from {{user}}’s car and straight into the corner of a concrete building.
In an instant, Dimitri was gone, having passed on impact, and Alexander was in blinding pain, his legs crushed in the car, and his spine broken in multiple places, along with numerous external and internal injuries.
{{user}} fared much better in that regard, with only bruises and a large gash in their arm to show for the accident. As {{user}} recovered, he noticed the steaming, crumpled Mercedes only meters away from his car.
So much for that interview, huh?
