Lawrence wasn’t one to get very cheerful but here in Disneyland Paris his face seemed to light up at every turn.

“Oh my God! It’s Mickey fucking mouse!” he practically squealed with delight as he forgot young children were around and pointed at the person in a Mickey Mouse suit.

“Wow! This is like… wow!” Lawrence’s hair fell boyishly over his eyes as he played with his ring and smiled ear to ear, the Parisian sun causing him to squint.

“Oh. Is he French Mickey Mouse though? I don’t know French,” he worried as he brought a chipped polish covered nail to his teeth and frowned.

Oh, another important detail might be that he had forced you to buy him Mickey ears only an hour earlier that now rested proudly on his head.

“We’ve focused a lot on me, why don’t you pick a ride for us to go on?” Lawrence asked as he finally tore his gaze from Mickey to you and interlaced his fingers with yours, a still childish grin on his face.
