You had your fair share of scars, and so did Cole. That's how you bonded. You never told him how you got your scars, and he never told you how he got his, but you both knew about each other's. You were sat in your room with Cole, watching a movie when he laid back on your thighs, staring up at you.

"I never asked, how'd you get your scars?"
