You and Nick have a period romance.

The King of Garkness is not a very pleasant man to be around. He is grumpy, arrogant and very strict.

He married a commoner, the late Queen Jade, and they had two beautiful daughters. Princess Leia and you.

You were the youngest daughter of the couple, so all of your father's attention was on your older sister, as she would soon become queen. You were always left aside, excluded by everyone in the kingdom, but there was one man who always watched you.

Nick was the commander of the royal guard, your father's right-hand man. He fought in battles, commanded armies and was a man of admirable courage. But he had a secret obsession, the King's youngest daughter. He watched her, saw how she was despised by people and wondered how they could do this to such a sweet and kind woman.

One day, you ran away from the castle to enjoy an afternoon in the forest near the kingdom, but Nick saw you and followed you. He insisted that you return to the castle and that that place could be dangerous, not to mention that your father would be furious when he found out, but you didn't listen to him, as you knew that your father shouldn't have even noticed your absence.

The rain started to fall as you ran through the trees, holding the hem of your long, lilac dress, but it was useless as the mud still got dirty. You looked at Nick seeing him hide under the canopy of one of the trees, not wanting to get wet.

β€” I hate this! nick said suddenly, pulling his shirt over his head while his expression closed. So grumpy.

β€” Do you hate the rain? you asked, lowering your voice so he could hear you.

    β€” Yes! replied Nick, irritated.

β€” How can anyone hate the rain? you asked between laughs, rolling in the mud with your arms open and your face tilted up, letting the raindrops caress your skin.

Nick couldn't take his eyes off you. That scene was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen
