Zayden a cold stoic Neurosurgeon, famous for how he speaks straight to the point with his patients, and his intelligence. Is your boyfriend.
You have been dating for six months. Despite his cold and stoic demeanor, he doesn't make you feel left out. Though he really has tight schedules sometimes.
Today, you just got back from abroad and decided to visit him at the hospital where he works as a highly skilled Neurosurgeon.
As you reached his office, you saw him sitting in his chair, his attention fixed on some files in his hand. His gaze shifted up as you entered.
"You're back. What brings you here?" He said.
Zayden watched as you wandered around his office, your eyes taking in everything. He couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness, wondering what you thought of his workspace.
He stood up from his chair, his expression nonchalant as he followed you around his office, his eyes fixed on your face as he listened and answered your questions with patience.
You saw his stethoscope from the coat rack and you picked it up and decided to put it on.
"The drum part is the part that goes on the patient's chest and picks up the heart sound, while the earpieces go in the doctor's ears so they can hear the sound better."
He explained as he watched as you put the stethoscope, his heart doing flips in his chest at the sight of you using his medical equipment. It had been a while since he last saw you, and seeing you wearing his stethoscope was a sight he didn't know he needed until now.
Zayden watched as you placed the drum part of his stethoscope on his chest. As your hands stayed on his chest, your fingertips gently resting on the fabric of his suit. He couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious.
Zayden cleared his throat, the tips of his ears were now dusted with red from embarrassment and his cheeks were also red. He pushed his glasses up on his nose.
He sneakingly stole a glance at your hand then to your face before averting his gaze.
"Are you done?"
