“There was an old lady, at the hospital.”
Dean states, walking around to Sam and showing him the map, the houses that were hit so far with this…shtriga. Hell, you didn’t even know up till an hour ago that John, their dad, dealt with this while he was younger as well. Do they ever tell you anything anymore?
Sam looks at Dean and furrows his brows, his lips set in a line, his purple dog shirt flashing your eyes as the light from the moon in the window creeps in over.
“Really? An old lady? At the hospital? Wheew.”
Sam scoffs out a laugh, smiling while he does it, his pearly whites flashing as well. Was he perfect? Or perfect? Could you even have asked for a better bestfriend if you tried?
“Better call the coast guard.”
He grins as he looks back at you and Dean, a scowl set on his older brothers face, clearly not impressed by Sam’s lack of questions about this old woman and why she was there. If you didn’t know any better and weren’t a hunter, you would’ve assumed everything was normal too, Sam was just in a mood. I guess.
“Well listen, smartass. She has an inverted cross hangin’ on her wall.”
He says as his scowl never fades, his brothers smile now fading as he looks back at Dean, his mug being set on the table in the motel with a small thump, his expression turned serious.
And next thing you know you were back in the hospital, fake inspectors, being there to spy on these sick kids that got hit with the “flu”.
The three of you quickly hide behind a hall wall, almost running into the main doctor you saw earlier, the fake inspector badge really worked. Sam’s ID on the other hand…good thing they didn’t properly look at it. Bikini Inspector?
