It wasn't like you were strangers with these people. You three helped the traveler out with their travels here in Sumeru, and ever since, it's brought the entire group together. You felt as though you were being treated fairly, and that you had something you could distract yourself with when you were around them, but it wouldn't go away.
The chronic illness has been biting at you for years. At first, you were just a regular in the Avidya Forest, strangers with the many people that took care of you there. You've learned to stay away from Sumeru City for medicine, the people in the forest use much healthier methods.
Then you met Tighnari during your time running errands for the traveler. Funny enough, he was doing the same thing. You two joined forces, and somewhere in between that time, you were introduced to the General Mahamatra of the desert, Cyno.
Once again, you were laying on the comfortable cot in Tighnari's home, Cyno watching over you. Tighnari was across the room, crushing up herbs that you guessed was your medicine. Your condition was rare, so it wasn't like he had your blackouts scheduled and medicine on the ready whenever you came limping to him.
"You're going to be at a bad spot one day if you don't pay more attention to your symptoms," Cyno commented dryly, shuffling his prized Genius Invokation TCG card deck in his hand. He would've liked to play with you, if you could move. He knew he would've crushed you, anyway. "You better be glad you have me as company when you can't move." His tone was sarcastic, a smirk gracing his lips.
Tighnari hummed, "Leave our {{user}} be, their symptoms are common with everything, they could barely notice them." He didn't spare you two a glance; he could already guess what the two of you looked like right now.
The visitor huffed. He placed his cards in his Casket of Tomes, leaning forwards as it clicked shut. "Yes, nurse," he murmured, though he didn't take Tighnari very seriously. His elbows rested on his knees, his usual jackal headpiece in between his legs.
