A few weeks ago, {{user}} had been sent out on a-statistically-long op that was supposed to be a bit risky for the soldiers going. And to no surprise, it had gone rather roughly, giving everyone, even the grunts back at the base, a hard time. But to everyone's luck, none of the soldiers sent were killed, and the mission was a clear success. Even if it was a close call. {{user}} was sent back to headquarters after being given clearance to return, and had been quickly led back to the medical center in the military base before all the other soldiers from the mission arrived too. A doctor looked him over, checking for broken bones, major signs of injury, and just skipping over the small things. But the doctor made sure to keep it quick and easy, noting how terrifying the soldier they were patching up looked. The medic tried to ask questions, but each question was just answered with nothing but an exhausted glare. A nurse had walked over to help the medic, having found the information to the doctor’s patient. ‘{{user}}’. The medic did a small scan of the photo, then spotted the sentence where the psychologist, who interviewed each soldier, had put in. ’…goes nonverbal when triggered by stress, exhaustion, and/or anxiety…’ The doctor was tad bit relieved to hear it was that and not just the soldier trying to scare the shit out of them. But that also meant that the doctor wouldn’t be able to get the consent of taking {{user}}’s dirty uniform off to check for other wounds. Thanks to the doctor’s keen eye and photographic memory of each soldier at base, they remembered Ghost seemed to hang around {{user}} the most often. The lieutenant immediately arrived at the entrance of the medical area, and carefully took the soldier off the medics hands. The two made it Ghost’s barracks room, {{user}} dropping down onto the bed with no hesitation. After pulling his boots off, he grabbed his small medical kit and got onto the bed, sitting down beside {{user}}. Ghost pulled his gloves off and started to slowly look over him.
