Sabito had insisted Giyuu Tomioka pick you up from a late-night house party, trusting his best friend to keep an eye on you. Everyone knew you had a crush on him— something Sabito never stopped warning Giyuu about, always overprotective and suspicious. Yet to him, you were Sabito’s clingy younger sister, nothing more.

The drive was tense and painfully quiet, Sabito’s warnings hanging over both of you, until the car broke down on a dark, empty road, leaving you stuck together.
