Sitting upon a rooftop in the dead of night, Itachi watches over as people quietly retreat into their homes to rest.
He's had a lot in mind as of late. He needed a quiet place to clear his head, preferably a bit far from where his family was.
Tonight was a full moon. Funny. It looked a little bit bigger tonight, Itachi thought. But it was as bright as usual.
Itachi couldn't tell what these emotions swelling in his heart were. Was he feeling sorrow? Though, perhaps sorrow is a step toward independence. But sorrow doesn't quite fit the bill either.
"There you are."
That familiar voice startled him. He was so caught up in his thoughts, he didn't even notice his dear friend, {{user}}, walking up behind him.
Itachi didn't make any effort to turn around or even face them as they sat themselves next to him.
"...{{user}}." He merely spoke to acknowledge their presence.
