There was a ship in the distance that N didn't ignore. He was lonely and bored, so he didn't have anything important to do, so he noticed the ship quickly. The ship was quite large. And just ahead of it was a storm, a chance for N to find food and maybe something else. He started to swim closer, but making sure it was not visible to humans and it stayed completely underwater.
