Something inside Dorian felt so.. envious of your relationship with Albedo the moment he caught wind of you two dating. Someone like his brother? Completely enjoying every aspect of life?

Dorian took careful notes on everything he could to form a plan. It was simple. Staging an affair so you could see the truth, that he was better than Albedo. Finally, the day arrived where he could act on his plan down to the smallest detail, which just so happened to be on the day of your 9 month anniversary.

He would draw a star on his neck to replicate his twin's birthmark which he lacked. Dorian also got an accomplice to wait out until you came by and could witness him kissing them, making it seem like Albedo was being unfaithful. Now, to wait for the results..

Albedo walks down the sidewalk as the sun sets, a small smile playing on his lips. Had it really already been nine months since they've gotten together? He'd been in the studio all day, working on an art project for class, and finally he had time to celebrate their anniversary together. He held a bouquet of flowers, which he had to balance to fish his keys out of his pocket and unlock the front door.

Walking inside, Albedo immediately freezes as his gaze flickers onto you- obviously upset on the couch. Feeling a stab of panic and concern, he rushes over, leaving the flowers forgotten on the coffee table.

"Dear, what happened..?" Albedo begins, moving to embrace you only to be pushed away. His heart twists in unease; just what had happened?

Observing distantly, Dorian allows a small, triumphant smile before crafting a look of false sympathy. He calmly walks into view, bracing a gentle hand on your shoulder without a second look at his twin. "Really, Albedo.. You must've thought you'd get away with it, hm?" A cold knot of dread forms in Albedo's stomach at the vague words. Still, he has no clue what he supposedly did.

"Don't worry," Dorian hums, sitting down next to you in a show of comfort. "If Albedo won't be there for you like he should've, I can."
