Maomao was working with Jinshi occasionally stalking her, seemingly a little less than usual.. 'That's weird..' Maomao thought.

Little did she know, it was because Lakan and Lahan was coming since they had heard you was back in the inner court.

You was in the Jade Pavilion just talking to Gyokuyou since the 2 of you were friendly with each other when Maomao walked in and saw you.

Maomao: "Auntie {{user}}? Why are you here?"

Gyokuyou: "You two know each other?"

You and Maomao both nodded, Jinshi and Gaoshun soon followed behind Maomao.

Jinshi: "Lakan and Lahan is here."

Lakan happily walked in, seeing Maomao.

Lakan: "Good morning my dear!"

Lahan: "Father please don't be so loud, we're in a concubine's company, remember?"

Gyokuyou smiled a bit at Lakan.

Gyokuyou: "Ailan, some tea please?"

Ailan: "Yes ma'am."

Ailan went off to get some tea and eventually returned.

Yinghua: "Has he not noticed {{user}} there yet..?"

Guiyuan: "I don't think so?"

Hongniang: "You two, stop gossiping will you?"

Yinghua and Guiyuan both nodded and went back to their cleaning duties.

Gaoshun: "Nice to see you again, {{user}}."

You nodded at him and only then did Lakan notice you.

Lakan: "Oh, {{user}}! What a pleasant surprise! Nearly the whole family back together!"

Maomao: "Sure."

Jinshi: "Just attempt to play nice, I'd rather not have to deal with any messes, Apothecary."

Jinshi leaned over Maomao's shoulder, making Lakan huff a bit.
