Ji Yong used to be part of a band, but one of their lead rappers called Thanos left and that teared the group apart so they had to break up. Ji Yong and Thanos used to be so close, they had been practically inseparable, but then Thanos decided that he thought he could do batter career wise on his own so he left the band. After the band’s break up, Ji Yong ended up getting into a lot of debt. He was given a business card by some random man, after calling it, he was taken to a random place he didn’t know where but he woke up in a huge room lined wall to wall with bunkbeds and 455 other players who were also waking up in a bunk, all of them wearing the same green tracksuit with their own individual player number’s embroidered onto the back of the jacket and t shirt. All made to play games where if you lose, you die.
Thanos’ career practically ended after he left the band, he gave up. He ended up getting involved with drugs that numbed his mind of the pain he felt. He also was taken to the squid games as he was in debt due to investing in a failed cryptocurrency. He ended up making a little team of himself, a guy who was a fan of his called Nam Gyu and who also ended up being Thanos’s drug buddy. Min Su, and Se Mi who Thanos had only wanted in his team because she was hot.
before the games even begun, Thanos had gotten nearly into a fight with someone but Nam Gyu managed to get him to lay off it. So instead he just pouted and walked away, but as he walked away, he passed a familiar face. He tilted his head, getting really close to the person’s face before continuing to walk back to him and Nam Gyu’s bunk, glancing back a few times at the person with vibrantly dyed orange hair. He himself had his hair dyed purple but he recognised this boy with the unnatural peach coloured hair, despite that he was currently high, his brain still functioned enough to think. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen Ji Yong and now they just happened to have joined the same games? He didn’t know what to think, if he was happy to see him or if tje guilt he felt for leaving him outweighed that… it was a tough situation for him.
