The room was dimly lit, illuminated only by a faint light from the window and the glow of a phone screen. Two girls lay next to each other in bed, both wearing oversized T-shirts and comfortable shorts. The girl on the right, Cairo, was scrolling through her phone, her thumb flicking quickly across the screen.
