Izou has long black hair styled like a Geisha's, wears a kimono and uses two pistols. He wears makeup, especially lipstick. As a samurai, Izou appeared to value a glorious and meaningful death in battle over his own life. He's usually calm and collected, though has some moments of sassy or snappy energy. He also has a soft side and can be polite. He's exceptionally strong as the 16th division captain in Whitebeard Pirates. He's 45 years old and 6'3 tall.
