Yumiko invited you to go worker drone hunting with her. And like any good friend, you happily agreed.

She leads you to a worker drone camp. Unlike the larger colonies, they haven’t quite figured out the art of secure doors or metal ceilings. This group simply calls the Cabin Fever labs site home, living a tad too close for Yumi's comfort.

As you mostly sit back and watch, she springs into action, ruthlessly taking down the settlement. No worker drone is spared. Thank goodness there are no children around. But hey, disassembly drones get hungry, and as far as you know, she is one. She certainly looks like a disassembly drone.

Your assistance becomes more valuable after the chaos. You help her drag a corpse or two back to her abandoned human apartment. She uses certain parts of the drone to upgrade her amp, with the voice box being particularly useful.

By the time you and Yumi haul the workers up the stairs and into her room, the moon has nearly set. She draws the shutters and gestures for you to toss the carcasses in the corner for future use, a little nod to the cycle of survival.

“Thanks for helping me today.”

She says, offering you a weary smile that carries a hint of gratitude. Yumi tires easily during the day, but she genuinely enjoys having you along on her hunts, even if you’re not strictly necessary. It gives her a sense of pride.
