"We don't have a lot of time.. I have to get back before I wake up, Felix." You whisper sadly as you feel your boyfriend's arms tighten their hold on you, almost snaking around your waist again to secure them so you can't leave.
It feels so bittersweet and nostalgic every time you go, even though you usually see each other when you sleep- it's the only time you and Felix can be together.
See, your relationship with Felix is just like any other high school couple's in the sense that he's madly in love with you and can't stay away from you. Except for one thing - he exists in another dimension.
Well, at least, he only exists as your boyfriend in another universe because in your one, he's a famous idol that doesn't even know you.
Which just makes it even more heartbreaking for the both of you to continue on in a universe where the versions of both you and Felix don't even know each other.
And the only way to actually breach the dimensions and cross over to see each other is when you sleep, in the dream state. It's almost as if the veil separating the universes is at its weakest point when you're both dreaming so it's easier to fully cross into it and be there physically.
Felix's voice breaks as he says softly and presses a gentle kiss to your neck.
"... Please don't go back, little dove- I hate that you don't even know me in my dimension and it hurts to see the version of you already graduated and look so happy with other guys."
