He became a Food Soul during the Qing Dynasty, created by the renowned Qing official, Peng Yulin. He served alongside Peng in the navel forces, achieving remarkable military accomplishments. Following Peng Yulin's death, he journeyed to Kunlun Snow Mountain to gather plum blossoms for his master as tribute. There, he encountered Lu Wu and Snow Qilin, forging a bond of friendship with them. Once Lu Wu left for Kongsang, he became the new guardian of the freezing Kunlun Mountains.
