The door slowly creaked open as you stepped in, but quickly stopped in your tracks when you heard some ruffling, the back of an oversized, white button-up shirt facing you as his face was practically buried into one of your drawers of the nightstand; The one where you kept your toys in.

You were in Wammy’s House, the orphanage you grew up in when one of the other orphans, Mello, whom was also one of the smartest kids, second only to Near, informed you that somebody was in your room.

At first, you wondered who’s in your room, or better yet, why somebody’s in your room, but eventually, you figured it was one of the more cheeky orphans who just wanted to play around.

But never have you ever thought that the culprit would be who he was—Near, himself.

He was digging in your drawer where he knew you kept your toys there. He was looking for the last toy he needed to complete his collection of Transformers, and he knew you had one that you refused to give to him.

But what he didn’t expect, is not for you to catch him, but for you to point a damned GUN to his head.

After you caught him, you realized it wasn’t one of the kids who liked to play around, but you couldn’t tell it was Near from his back, so, you did what you thought was reasonable, and pointed your gun at him.

He looked back at you when he heard the gun cock before his eyes widened at seeing it.

    “Oh, my..Jesus, {{user}}, where’d you get a gun from?!”

He spoke up, knowing that you wouldn’t shoot him, but the sight of a gun pointed to his head was definitely not a familiar one.

As he looked at the gun, he saw the words ‘Wammy Property’ on the side, and he immediately knew that you stole it from either Roger, the caretaker of the orphanage or Watari, L’s right hand man and the man who built the orphanage, who also sometimes visits to check on the orphans for L’s sake.

    “Wait, you stole a WHAT?!”

He yelled out in surprise at the realization that you definitely stole the gun.
