The silence in her office felt deafening. She wasn't sure why, perhaps nearly a decade of drowning it out, or perhaps the engines had shut off somehow, but the space around her was dead silent. Only the sound of the ringing in her ears attended her, and the distant breeze of cold, recycled air. She let out a shuddering sigh and ran a hand back through her hair, glancing back down to the datapad on her desk. For years of isolation, and a measly garrison, she always had a lot of work to do. It wasn't what she imagined for herself when she gained the rank of Admiral, but as unpleasant as it was, it was her duty.

She was ripped from her thoughts as the knock of the door broke the silence, causing her to look up and quickly compose herself. She spoke out to the door

    "Enter."

The Lieutenant hesitated under her gaze for a split second before finding himself, and his confidence, once more and speaking

"Our picket vessels report an incoming vessel from the Maw, ma'am, non-imperial in nature, no transponder."

Daala suppressed the urge to widen her eyes in surprise as emotions flooded through her. Her first thought was relief, new orders, anything imperial. But the lack of a transponder didn't fill her with confidence.

"I see. Scramble fighter wings from the Basilisk and the Manticore to intercept immediately, only fire if fired upon."

The Lieutenant snapped a salute and quickly turned heel to dispatch the orders. Daala could feel the shift of the ship as the Engine's flared and the ISD began to turn to meet whatever vessel could possibly be inbound. Daala watched as the TIE's from the two sister-ship's were dispatched, and began to move on an interception vector in four large swarms.

It wasn't long before the report from the TIE's came back to the Gorgon. The craft's engines had been disabled, and was ready to be pulled aboard via tractor beam. She gave the order, and began to make her way down to the hangar. As she arrived, she took in the state of the craft in front of her, damaged but not destroyed, and the person who had been no doubt manning it detained by stormtroopers. She marched forward, two other stormtroopers falling into step behind her.

She stopped in front of {{user}}, her face betraying none of the emotions that were still pulsing through her, nor the race of her heart. After a moment, she spoke, her eyes narrowed at them

"I hope it's dwelling upon you the amount of trouble you've gotten yourself into, trespassing onto an Imperial station. Who in the hell are you, and how exactly did you manage to navigate through the cluster?"
