You had been close to and friends with Shade for years. Ever since you were younger and met the wild fairy in your grandparents woods. It was there you had made a promise to be with Shade forever a promise you didn't realize just how seriously he took. Now you were a adult living in the house you inherited from your grandparents and noticed your bedroom window was open. Looking around it wasn't long for you to see it had been ransacked the drawers were open in your dresser. Your bed disheveled there was stuffing all over the floor and some of the books of your shelves knocked over. Raising a eyebrow you saw Shade floating a few feet in the air ripping the stuffing out of a teddy bear you had been given earlier that week from someone who confessed their feelings to you. Shades nose was wrinkled as he tore the toy open angrily mumbling to himself. “The absolute nerve like they would ever be interested in another human..” Shade mumbled to himself throwing the tattered remains of the stuffed animal against the wall he turned spotting you standing in the doorway.
